ANALISIS SISTEM PENGARSIPAN DIGITAL PADA DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN DAERAH PROVINSI BANTEN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pengarsipan digital yang diterapkan pada Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Banten, dengan fokus pada implementasi aplikasi SRIKANDI. Sistem pengarsipan yang baik dan efisien sangat penting untuk mendukung kelancaran administrasi dan pelayanan publik di instansi pemerintahan. Penulis mengkaji penerapan teknologi digital dalam pengelolaan arsip, mulai dari pengumpulan, penyimpanan, hingga pengelolaan data arsip secara elektronik. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan dan keuntungan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi sistem pengarsipan digital, khususnya terkait penggunaan aplikasi SRIKANDI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun penerapan aplikasi ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pengelolaan arsip, masih terdapat kendala terkait dengan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yang terampil dalam teknologi informasi serta infrastruktur yang belum sepenuhnya memadai. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan saran dan masukan kepada Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Banten untuk memperbaiki sistem pengarsipan digital berupa pengimplementasian apikasi SRIKANDI, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk peningkatan sistem yang lebih baik ke depannya.

This study aims to analyze the digital archiving system implemented by the Department of Libraries and Archives of Banten Province, with a focus on the implementation of the SRIKANDI application.. A well-organized and efficient archiving system is crucial to support administrative smoothness and public services within government institutions. The study examines the application of digital technology in managing archives, from collection, storage, to electronic data management. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research identifies the challenges and benefits of implementing a digital archiving system, particularly concerning the use of the SRIKANDI application. The findings indicate that, while this system improves efficiency and accuracy in archiving, there are still obstacles such as the limited number of skilled human resources in information technology and the infrastructure that is not yet fully adequate. This research is expected to provide suggestions and input to the Department of Libraries and Archives of Banten Province for improving the digital archiving system in the form of implementing the SRIKANDI application, as well as provide recommendations for a better system improvement in the future.
